The Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean oil pipeline ESPO is the next nail into the U.S. petrodollar empire.
Recently, the world is becoming increasingly multipolar. But the main center of power are still the United States: they have the largest navy, desperately seeking to control all the world’s oceans and, therefore, the main routes of transportation.
The United States is also the world’s financial center. USD serves as a main world currency, and is being emitted by the U.S. Federal Reserve.
Pants one can not sew from the Dollar, but for the money you can buy them i.e. from China.
World industrial Pole has recently moved to the Chinese Kingdom. The latter has the largest reserves of cheap and quality labor force and favorable economic conditions. China does not only produce jeans for the U.S., but for the whole world, and China needs a lot of oil and gas.
Chinese oil and gas corporations are buying energy in dollars from around the world, but most of all in the Persian Gulf and in the Arab world in general.
The latter are under military and political control of the United States (except Iran). Thus, the circle is closed.
U.S. is saber rattling, Chinese workers sew jeans, and Arab sheiks are selling energy -for U.S. Dollar only!
In to all this alignment orderly set up by Washington one little state does not fit, which on the one hand, is a very large exporter of oil and gas, and on the other – is the owner of the most powerful armed forces and has a considerable nuclear arsenal. This state is – Russia.
In addition, Russia has GLONASS (Russian GPS) and spacecrafts, versus the U.S., which has also a GPS, but there are no space ships any more – ran out, due to lack of budget funding.
U.S. is renting them from Russia, for Dollars, of course.
The problem is that the U.S. Dollar is becoming more and more, but their purchasing power – less and less.
Therefore, in Russia, the U.S. Dollar becomes less favorable, and the Yuan gains – these colorful pieces of paper with a picture of the great Chinese President Mao Zedong.
Mao Zedong has valued human rights even less than Stalin, but for the Yuan one can buy a lot of cheap and quality goods. In addition, the Chinese Communists like to purchase (or simply copy) Russian weapons.
They would like to acquire the U.S. weaponry, and preferably the newest, but Washington’s politicians, some may call them imperialists, do not trust their economic partners from Beijing.
In short, the essence of the main conflict in world politics can be put into words of the Chinese Ambassador to Russia Liu Guchang.
Liu Guchang once said that China is seeking to diversify its energy imports, and Russia to diversify its energy exports. These words were said at the launch of the construction project ESPO, Eastern Siberia–Pacific Ocean oil pipeline.
And what does the U.S. want? U.S. and its dependents want to keep everything under control. And in the first place – the global energy trade.
For oil and gas on the world market is being paid in U.S. Dollars, and as soon as someone wants to get for their energy Euro or Yuan, it appears that this “someone” becomes a dictator and tyrant who violates human rights, has chemical weapons, or else.
Those who have nuclear weapons, the United States does not like, but can’t do anything with them.
Recently, the leader of the North Korean people, Kim Jong Un has promised to launch a nuclear strike on U.S. bases in South Korea, Hawaii, Guam and Japan in the case of provocation by the United States.
And what happened? The U.S. Defense Department has postponed a test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile Minuteman 3. This decision the Pentagon made wisely to avoid deterioration of the situation on the Korean peninsula.
Americans are a very strong nation. But also quite nervous. Kim Jong Un is aware of this, and periodically experiments with his ballistic and nuclear toys.
Returning to the subject of diversification of exports and imports, it should be noted that in general President Obama and especially Mrs. Clinton is not enthusiastic about the rapprochement between China and Russia.
In particular, the increase in oil and gas supplies from Russia to the Chinese.
In the end, Moscow and Beijing may abandon mutually the use of USD, and then the failed “End of the world” in December 2012 may still turn as end of the domination of the White House and their companions from the Fed.
Americans, again, are a very strong nation. Their strength lies in the fact that they are not used to sit back, when someone or something threatens their income.
Karl Marx once said that for a profit of 300% the capitalists are capable of committing any crime.
But that was said before the today’s imperial times, rather when the U.S. was importing not oil, but slaves from Africa.
Since, times have changed. Modern capitalists today are capable of any crime, but not for the sake of some despicable money, no, now a days for the protection of “human rights” and in the name of “fighting corruption”.
The main problem for the United States in the case of the pipe line project ESPO is that China gets the oil and gas from Russia through the ground pipeline, and not by supertankers through the Malacca Strait. And therefore the U.S. air plain carriers do not represent a threat to the ESPO.
Any ground operation against Russia is obviously meaningless.
Another detail is that the East Siberian oil is of better grade than that from Ural, which Russia exports today. It has less sulfur and other impurities. It is lighter and will be in high demand.
Thus, the price dictate of Dubai grade oil, which is determined by Arab sheiks and USA in the future may be challenged. This situation does not inspire the Arab sheiks and their Washington’s patrons and they are nervous.
What actions can be taken, or better are already being taken by U.S. administration and their allies, the Arab dictatorial oil exporters?
Since the direct military pressure on Russia is not very promising, one can use the traditional Anglo-Saxon methods of conducting politics.
They find people in Russia, called “agents of influence”, who for money or because of their “great love to their country” agree to help to thwart the construction of Asian pipe line project ESPO.
First, they have mobilized all Russian fighters against corruption. Corruption does exist in Russia, doesn’t it?
There for there is a reason to shout, to make something like a “Magnitsky list”, or similar. They try to intimidate some senior officials of the Russian authorities. Now it becomes easy to freeze some US bank accounts of Russian citizens.
But actually it’s good for Russia, since it’s time to remember the old slogan: “Keep your money in the Russian Savings Bank.”
Second, currently the same Russian puppeteers are mobilized from overseas against the pipe line project ESPO as “fighters” for the environment, the rights of tigers, and endemic plants of the taiga.
Third, there is the so-called “Patriots” and Nationalists” who chirping on blogs that Vladimir Putin is using the pipe line project ESPO to dismember and sell Mother Russia to the Chinese.
The whole machine has been running for a long time.
Most of the “fighters against the Putin regime” however are being used, are “blended” and do not even know who is pulling the strings.
