Russia is one of a handful of sovereign countries one can find in today’s world, President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary said on Sunday. In comments aired by Rossia 1 TV channel Dmitry Peskov also said that Russia did not depend on any county, either politically or economically.

Speaking about President Putin Peskov described him as a very tough person where it comes to defending this nation’s national interests, “interests that cannot be betrayed or compromised,” Dmitry Peskov emphasized.
