According to British media: U.S. veterans were involved in build up of torture prisons in Iraq

According to British media senior veterans of the United States have  helped to built up secret torture prisons in Iraq.

Two former officers, James Steele and James Coffman would directly report to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld or General David Petraeus , cited the ” Guardian” and the BBC.

Both are said to have been involved in torture for the U.S. in the “dirty wars” in Central America during the 1980s, the online newspaper reported Wednesday.

Trigger for the British research was the unveiling of Wikileaks documents.

Though the U.S. media didn’t take on the story yet, if true, it would mean a major scandal, at least for those, who tend not to look beyond horizon.
