The film presents a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Satire\">satirical<\/a> view of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/McCarthy_era\">McCarthy communist-hunt era<\/a> and certain other aspects of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States\">United States<\/a>  politics and society.
