representation of it in the German media. For me this is giving rise to an almost ethical obligation, to travel this country and to report on it, but moreover, also to animate others to visit Russia in order for them to make up their own minds and to witness by themselves how wrong our media are in their\u00a0reporting.<\/p>\n<p>While Russia is described in Germany as a dictatorship under a homophobic dictator Putin, who is a megalomaniac and driven by the lowest instincts of power to reestablish the Soviet Union, I am experiencing Russia as a country at the start of its rise, which just now is recovering from its historic percussions. By saying this, I am not only referring to the barbarous invasion by the German fascists, which cost 27 Million people their lives and nor do I only mean the era of Stalinism, but rather the neoliberal march under Yeltsin, which put the country economically into\u00a0shambles.<\/p>\n<p>This era was by the way also assisted by the late Boris Nemzov, who was murdered right in front of the Kremlin in February. He among others drove the radical free-market policies forward in Russia and was subsequently punished for this in nearly all the following elections. His liberal party of right forces was failing on a regular basis. It is still entirely unclear to me, how this man could have been hyped as a serious politician of the opposition by the Mainstream Media, as it was the case right after his murder. Nemzov was and is extremely unpopular because of his non-solidary economic policies and his 1% Party was by no means any political threat to Putin or anybody else in political Russia for that matter. Yet, if one read the German Press at the time, then the impression was generated that half of Russia was backing him. An unbelievable Distortion of Facts, which have nothing to do with proper Journalism\u00a0whatsoever.<\/p>\n<div class=\"media media-element-container media-original_image\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-original-image\" title=\"Author at the Crimea coast\" src=\"http:\/\/russia-insider.com\/sites\/insider\/files\/styles\/1200xauto\/public\/crimea-ungar.jpg?itok=VN_H7XcO\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"351\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-caption field-type-text field-label-hidden\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In the nineties Yeltsin had a policy, which was very similar to the policy of today\u2019s Wolfgang Sch\u00e4uble and the European Union in Greece, with absolutely similar results: The complete impoverishment of a large part of the population, while at the same time a very few people got ever richer. It was the hour of the oligarchs, which was striking in Russia back then. Today their hour is striking in Germany, Europe and the USA. The times of Russian oligarchs are mostly over. The Forbes-List can be easily consulted about this matter. The upper ranks are occupied by Americans, followed by Germans and only at place 60 the first Russian\u00a0surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>The Projection of Oligarchism onto Russia seems like a mirror reflection to me. We see something shining there, which we ignore in our own country and\u00a0society.<\/p>\n<p>But back to my travel. This time my visit not only brought me to Moscow, but also to Saint Petersburg and Yalta on the\u00a0Crimea.<\/p>\n<p>The first thing, which I noticed was the sheer incredible amount of construction work, as I was stumbling over a steel beam right after the passport control. Already at my last visit, the Airport Domodedovo was a huge single construction site, but this time the construction work was even more intensive. The drive with the Airport Express to the City Center was also impregnates with images of vast construction work. Tracks were being laid, new bridges built, roads were being paved. It even was becoming a little wilder in Moscow itself,\u00a0 as it seemed that virtually every pavement was ripped open. Especially in the city center, those are just being widened, the roads are narrowed and cycle paths are being built. Amazingly, all this happens around the clock, as work is going on day and night. There is construction going on everywhere, public buildings are renovated or built and old ones are being torn\u00a0down.<\/p>\n<p>Strictly orthodox economists should be driven to insanity by this, as everyone knows that Russia is in an economic crisis right now, due to western sanctions. According to orthodox economic views austerity should be the law of the land now. Most obviously this is neither done by Moscow nor by Saint Petersburg and the Crimea also starts slowly with government-financed construction projects. It literally smells like anti-cyclic economic policies and\u00a0Keynes.<\/p>\n<p>But those who know, how difficult it is for Europe to deal with Keynes and generally with economic alternatives to the tristesse of the German lack of alternatives &#8211; and who follow the processes in Greece and who see, how a German Minister of Finance would rather send the European idea to its doom, instead of allowing some reasonable ecomomic policies to take place &#8211; those will know that Russia with the orientation of its economic policies is not making friends in a Europe, which is leaning more and more to the\u00a0right.<\/p>\n<p>But actually it hasn\u2019t got to be that way. On my journey I also got the impression that Russia is temporarily finished with Europe. There were many attempts by Russia to engage in closer relationships with Europe, which often were arrogantly rejected by the West. Even the Nato-Russia-Council is not taking place anymore, an institution, which was designed to keep the dialog going in times of crisis. NATO broke up this dialog. Russia swallowed one insult after the other, accepted every affront and all the arrogance with equanimity. But now, the west has overstretched the bow. Incredibly patient Russia has turned away from\u00a0Europe.<\/p>\n<p>This was very visible during my visit in Saint Petersburg. Of course a visit to the Hermitage was mandatory. Besides all the beauty of the Hermitage and its exhibits one thing was very striking: The masses of Indian and Chinese tourists, while European groups were heavily under-represented. Tours around the Kremlin are also more frequented by groups from the BRICS Countries than by those from Europe. Documentations about China are running all over the TV stations and even Russian Pop Icons like Nyusha und Vera Brechneva avail themselves of Indian Style in their Video Clips. The big Topic is BRICS and not the European Union or Angela Merkel. Presumably, this is hard to conceive, because we consider ourselves the center of the world, but that is really the way it\u00a0is.<\/p>\n<p>It is undeniable that Europe has wasted tremendous opportunities and is still wasting them. In a m\u00e9lange of arrogance and unbelievable disrespect Germany and Europe are missing out on a development, which is preparing for a new world order and they continue riding the dead horse of the transatlantic alliance. Indeed the attacks against the BRICS countries are increasing, as it is not only Russia, which is being despised. In Brazil a right-wing conservative upper crust is heavily agitating by means of mass media against the President Dilma Rousseff and her socialist workers party. Presumably, there is money flowing, but in any case support for this is coming from the USA. And that the USA has also chosen China as their new enemy is no secret. Actually, everything, which is not the USA is an enemy of the USA, and even on this one the USA is not so sure about it.\u00a0 This is the typical anxiety disorder of a dying\u00a0empire.<\/p>\n<p>The BRICS Countries are Home to 40% of the world\u2019s population. This alliance has an unbelievable potential, which can unfold itself only in a limited way within the current economic warfare. However, this potential can\u2019t be suppressed forever. Europe and especially Germany should be very attentively observing this development. A stoic loyalty, as it is practiced at the moment by Europe and Germany, is absolutely\u00a0wrongheaded.<\/p>\n<p>We came with a historic speed train, Krasnaya Strela (red arrow), to Saint Petersburg, which has operated since 1931. We traveled back to Moscow by train as well, but this time with the Sapsan (peregrine falcon), built by Siemens, which has connected the metropolises since 2009 and for which Siemens has a 30 Year Service and Maintenance Contract. Unfortunately there are sanctions and we will see how this will develop\u00a0further.<\/p>\n<p>There was one train attendant for each wagon in both trains. Generally, the staff is all around. This leads to one of the lowest unemployment rates in Europe. It currently lingers around 5.3% and this is in times of crisis, while\u00a0 according to its own self-perception booming Germany is counting 6.6% by means of a doctored statistic. The fact that Germany considers itself in a boom with an estimated growth rate of 1.7% this year has grown to a running joke outside of German borders. In contrast to Germany, social security and especially its implementation are core issues of Russian politics.<\/p>\n<p>The opposite to Russia in this respect are of course the USA. Never in my life I have seen so much poverty, which stand in stark cynical contrast to the much celebrated wealth there in the USA. One can clearly see, how a completely de-solidarized society disintegrates. Not hundreds, but thousands are just living in the streets in Skid Row, a district of Los Angeles. It is a deeply disturbing picture, which presents itself right there. I don\u2019t need to mention, which skin color is prevailing most in Skid Row. A few miles away Hollywood is shining and entertains the world community with narcotic nonsense. The American society is obscene in a very deep way. If we don\u2019t manage to break with the transatlantic alliance, then this will be the European doom as\u00a0well.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that this disintegrated society can only be held together by violence was very obvious in Miami. This city is obviously governed by police, which is omnipresent and does not feel obliged to act in accordance with law and rules. So did it happen that someday 10 policemen just marched passed me across the Hotel Lobby and the Hotel-owned pool just to leave the private property at the other side. Without asking permission, without any notification, just like that. Nobody except me thought this was strange, which goes to show, how much the Americans are already weaned from anything, which has to do with democracy and the rule of law. Well, just like in a police\u00a0state.<\/p>\n<p>In a very strange twist of facts it is insinuated that Russia applies these practices, which are actually the norm in the USA. My first and only encounter with Russian police to date went completely different to my police encounters in the USA. We were just reminded, that it is not allowed to drink vodka in the streets. We were asked to hide the bottle, because otherwise they would also become thirsty for a sip, the policeman said while his companion in the back nodded in agreement and smiled friendly. We just did it and were wished a joyful evening. In Miami, one probably would have been strongly tasered first, before being talked\u00a0to.<\/p>\n<p>But back to Russia. My Journey also brought me to the Crimea. I had picked Yalta for a destination. I flew together with my friend Dmitry from Moscow to Simferopol. The Airport there is way too small for the load it has to carry now. On the other hand, the train station of Simferopol has become too big in the meantime. In earlier times the trains brought tourists from Russia via Ukraine to the Crimea, but today this border station is closed down. So that leaves the airway only. A bridge-building project is being driven with high pressure, which will connect the Crimea with the Russian mainland. It is supposed to be completed by 2018. But until this day comes people have to content themselves with an airport, which operates at the limits of its possibilities. As a guy from Berlin I am used to pretty much anything and quite possibly the new airport in Simferopol will open up earlier than the new airport in my hometown, which will enter the history books as a concrete-cast symbol of German\u00a0corruption.<\/p>\n<p>My idea originally was to take the longest trolleybus-line in the world to get from Simferopol to Yalta, because I am a friend of public transport. My friend Dmitry was not so fond of my idea and organized a lift. I began to understand, when I saw the Trolleybuses. The public transport sector was not the only area, where Ukraine failed to invest, but also the Crimea in general was heavily neglected, when it comes to investment in public services. Some of the buses are obviously still from Soviet times and significant Infrastructure investment only began commencing again after the unification with\u00a0Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from this I am left to say only one thing about the Crimea. The Crimea surely is the most beautiful place, which I have ever been to. Very simple. Pure superlative. The Nature is overwhelming and every square meter is historic. A tourism, which has grown over a span of 200 years did not leave behind the numerous constructional sins that can be witnessed in other tourist centers in the world. Quite the contrary, hotels and facilities integrate harmonically into the landscape especially in Yalta and create a wonderful and inimitable\u00a0atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Much is talked about politics; the topic Ukraine is ubiquitous. However, no Crimean is shedding a tear about the loss of the connection to Ukraine. On the contrary. One can still see the stickers and posters, which asked for a commitment to Russia before the election, which took place on March 16th. Stop Maidan can be read here on a bus\u00a0station.<\/p>\n<p>And what would be the alternative? Instead of an sub-tropical holiday idyll the alternative would have been civil war and unrest, there is no doubt about that. One can see the alternative every day in the media, the events around Luhansk and Donetsk. The heavier and longer the conflict, the firmer the commitment of the Crimeans to Russia becomes. While doom and violence prevail on the other side, the Crimea is experiencing growth and\u00a0prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>All those who think they ought to speak about an annexation in the case of Crimea and drivel something about international law must realize this: You wish for a civil war for the 2.5 million Crimeans. Nothing less. No less cynical is the blabbering in German media and transatlantically networked news\u00a0outlets.<\/p>\n<p>And let me tell you something about international law. No other nation is currently kicking around human rights with its boots, like the US, and the European Union is kicking diligently right along. Extra-legal detentions, torture, extra-legal killings, meanwhile countless illegal wars according to international law, mass surveillance etc. etc.\u00a0etc.<\/p>\n<p>Concerning the term annexation, three things have to be mentioned. The west is seeing the Unification of the Crimea with Russia as an annexation, which would be the sole legitimation for a war declaration, according to international law. Because of this I would be very very careful using this word. Those nations, which are allies with Russia of course have a slightly different view on this matter. Eventually, it seems to be the case that the international law is not saying anything about this. If the population considers events as an annexation, then it will be treated as one. It will be some time until the correct terminology with regards to the Crimea will be found conclusively. It is of course in the interest of the Crimea to speak about an integration into Russia, because anything else opens the gates to war. In any case, nobody wants to be part of Ukraine anymore in the\u00a0Crimea.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about Ukraine: The coup, which took place there went thoroughly wrong. Maidan-Walkie Frank Walter-Steinmeier planted together with his transatlantic allies a failed state in the heart of Europe, which now is plagued with a frozen armed conflict. How can one be so stupid. The USA is clearly the benefactor of this situation, but for Europe it is thoroughly and sustainably harmful. Just yesterday I had a conversation with a friend, who lives in Kiev. Well educated and without a job in the meantime, like so many others, he is hoping for Visa-free traveling coming up soon, in order to go to Germany. But Visa-Freedom will not be coming around any time soon, just like EU-membership will not be coming around in the near future. A lot of weapons are coming, US soldiers and mercenaries are already there, a couple of military advisers too, maybe NATO-Membership will be on the menu soon, but a US Military Base is almost certain and that was about it in terms of western integration of the Ukraine. Oh and by the way, the IMF is of course also coming and will be allowed to wreck and loot this country a little. I almost would have forgotten to mention this\u00a0one.<\/p>\n<p>Everything else was just pure empty promises in order to fuel the putsch and to destabilize the country. The despair of the people there is growing by the day, as the lack of a proper perspective is awful. In light of this we Germans may get friendly already with another wave of refugees, because everyone just wants to get away from Ukraine. Thanks to western regime-change and democracy promotion the country has sunk to the ground and it will stay there for decades to\u00a0come.<\/p>\n<p>Russia already took around 700.000 refugees from the eastern civil war areas. But the destination of the people in Western Ukraine will be Europe. Anyone who feels obliged to keep the conflict going by babbling about the annexation of the Crimea can already prepare a bed for those who will be coming from there. Just in an altruistic fashion as a sign of solidarity and because of care about the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The chief-whips against Russia, <a href=\"http:\/\/marieluisebeck.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ms. Beck<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebecca-harms.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ms. Harms<\/a> are surely ready to share their living rooms with larger crowds of people and to abstain from the comfort for an undefined period of time, as it is all at last about a good\u00a0deed.<\/p>\n<p>Of course the greatest joke is the fact, that everyone who is travelling to the Crimea via Russia is counted as a criminal according to Ukrainian Law. Germany\u2019s Department of Foreign Affairs is referring to this fact by issuing a travel warning, precisely for this reason and advises travelers not to take the trip. The fact that an EU-associate country is infringing the freedom of travel of the EU citizens is in itself an unbelievable process. The head of the Dept. Of Foreign Affairs is, by the way, our already mentioned Maidan-Walkie Frank Walter Steinmeier, for whom it was so incredibly important, that human rights pave the way in the Ukraine. Is he doing anything against the infringement of our basic rights? Of course not. Politics in our country is just PR for pushing through the interests of a very few using well-sounding words, which are popular with many people, but which don\u2019t mean\u00a0anything.<\/p>\n<p>Before our freedoms are limited further I can only advise you one thing: Travel! Especially to those countries of which public opinion says \u201cdon\u2019t do this! This is Dark-Land!\u201d The Crimea is perfect for this, by the way. Because of the sanctions no credit cards will work there and German travel agencies are not allowed to offer journeys to the Crimea, but in the end geopolitics as well is always a little like kindergarden. But please, go there and take a view of ourselves and of our own country from the outside, even though the planning might be a little more difficult than booking an all-inclusive holiday. You will be surprised, how wrong and marginal we already are and how little the world view that is conveyed to us via the Media has to do with reality and facts. Your surprising conclusion will be that we ourselves are the Dark-land, we who are exposed to daily propaganda permanently and irreversibly, and not those our propaganda is pointing its finger to. Russia\u00a0has.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h1 class=\"entry-title\">Die Krim \u2013 Ein\u00a0Reisebericht<\/h1>\n<div class=\"comments-link\"><a href=\"http:\/\/logon-echon.com\/2015\/09\/20\/die-krim-ein-reisebericht\/#comments\">75 Antworten<\/a><\/div>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Meine Faszination f\u00fcr Russland ergibt sich unter anderem aus dem eklatanten Auseinanderfallen zwischen dem Russland, das ich vor Ort erlebe und der Darstellung Russlands in den deutschen Medien. Es tut sich hier f\u00fcr mich fast eine ethische Verpflichtung auf, das Land zu bereisen und dar\u00fcber zu berichten, mehr aber noch, auch andere zum Besuch Russlands zu animieren, damit sie sich selbst ein Bild machen, und sich davon \u00fcberzeugen k\u00f6nnen, wie verquer die hiesigen Medien in ihrer Berichterstattung sind.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend Russland hier als Diktatur unter dem homophoben Diktator Putin beschrieben wird, der gr\u00f6\u00dfenwahnsinnig und von niedrigsten Machtinteressen die Wiederherstellung der Sowjetunion anstrebt, erlebe ich Russland als Land im Aufbruch, das sich gerade von seinen historischen Ersch\u00fctterungen erholt. Damit meine ich nicht nur den grausamen \u00dcberfall durch den deutschen Faschismus, der 27 Millionen Sowjetb\u00fcrger das Leben kostete, auch nicht zun\u00e4chst den Stalinismus, damit meine ich vor allem den neoliberalen Durchmarsch unter Jelzin, der das Land \u00f6konomisch in Schutt und Asche gelegt hat. Unter anderem assistiert von einem Vizeministerpr\u00e4sidenten namens Boris Nemzow \u00fcbrigens, der im Februar vor dem Kreml ermordet wurde. Der trieb die marktradikale Wirtschaftspolitik voran und wurde daf\u00fcr sp\u00e4ter bei allen Wahlen abgestraft. Seine liberale Partei der rechten Kr\u00e4fte scheiterte regelm\u00e4\u00dfig. Wie man diesen Mann zu einem ernstzunehmenden Oppositionspolitiker hochstilisieren konnte, wie das nach seiner Ermordung in den Mainstream-Medien der Fall war, bleibt mir ein absolutes R\u00e4tsel. Nemzow ist wegen seiner unsolidarischen Wirtschaftspolitik ausgesprochen unbeliebt und seine Ein-Prozent-Partei in keiner Weise eine Gefahr f\u00fcr Putin oder sonstwen im politischen Russland. Las man damals jedoch die deutsche Presse, bekam man den Eindruck halb Russland st\u00fcnde hinter ihm. Eine unglaubliche Verzerrung der Tatsachen, die mit Journalismus nichts zu tun hat.<\/p>\n<p>Jelzin exekutierte in den 90er Jahren \u00fcbrigens eine \u00e4hnliche Politik, wie sie Wolfgang Sch\u00e4uble und die EU heute in Griechenland exekutiert mit freilich ganz \u00e4hnlichen Ergebnissen: Der v\u00f6lligen Verarmung breiter Teile der Bev\u00f6lkerung, w\u00e4hrend gleichzeitig wenige immer reicher werden. Es war die Stunde der Oligarchen, die damals in Russland schlug. Heute schl\u00e4gt ihre Stunde in Deutschland, Europa und den USA. Die Zeit der russischen Oligarchen scheint weitgehend vorbei. Die <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/billionaires\/list\/#version:static\" target=\"_blank\">Forbes-Liste<\/a> gibt dar\u00fcber gerne Auskunft. Auf den vorderen Pl\u00e4tzen sind Amis, gefolgt von Deutschen, erst auf Platz 60 taucht ein erster Russe auf.<\/p>\n<p>Die Projektion des Oligarchentums nach Russland scheint mir eine Spiegelung. Wir sehen dort etwas aufscheinen, was wir bei uns nicht wahrnehmen wollen.<br \/>\nDoch zur\u00fcck zu meiner Reise. Dieses Mal f\u00fchrte mich mein Besuch neben <a href=\"http:\/\/logon-echon.com\/2015\/03\/09\/moskau-ein-reisebericht\/\" target=\"_blank\">Moskau<\/a> auch nach Sankt Petersburg und nach Jalta auf die Krim.<\/p>\n<p>Was mir als erstes\u00a0auffiel war das unglaubliche Ausma\u00df an Baut\u00e4tigkeit, denn ich stolperte gleich nach der Passkontrolle \u00fcber einen Stahltr\u00e4ger, der da rumlag. Schon beim letzten Besuch war der Flughafen Domodedovo eine einzige Baustelle, doch dieses Mal waren die Bauarbeiten noch umfassender. Auch auf der Fahrt mit dem Airport Express in die Stadt war alles von Bauarbeiten gekennzeichnet. Schienen wurden verlegt, neue Br\u00fccken gebaut, Autostra\u00dfen angelegt. In Moskau selbst wurde es dann noch ein bisschen wilder, denn es hatte den Anschein als w\u00e4re nahezu jeder B\u00fcrgersteig aufgerissen. Vor allem im Zentrum\u00a0werden diese gerade verbreitert, die Fahrspuren verengt, dar\u00fcber hinaus werden Fahrradwege angelegt. Erstaunlicherweise passiert das alles rund um die Uhr, denn es wird Tag und Nacht gearbeitet. Es wird \u00fcberall gebaut, \u00f6ffentliche Geb\u00e4ude werden saniert, errichtet, alte abgerissen.<\/p>\n<p>Stramm\u00a0orthodoxe \u00d6konomen\u00a0m\u00fcsste dies in den Wahnsinn treiben, denn jeder wei\u00df doch, dass Russland dank westlicher Sanktionen gerade eine Wirtschaftskrise durchl\u00e4uft. Da ist nach der Orthodoxie doch Sparen angesagt. Ganz offensichtlich macht das weder Moskau noch Sankt Petersburg und auch auf der Krim geht es langsam los mit dem staatlich finanzierten Bauen. Es riecht f\u00f6rmlich nach antizyklischer Wirtschaftspolitik und Keynes.<\/p>\n<p>Wer aber wei\u00df, wie schwer sich Europa inzwischen mit Keynes, ganz allgemein mit wirtschaftspolitischen Alternativen zur Tristesse der deutschen Alternativlosigkeit tut, wer die Vorg\u00e4nge um Griechenland verfolgt hat und gesehen hat, wie ein deutscher Finanzminister lieber den Europ\u00e4ischen Gedanken dem Untergang weiht, als ein bisschen vern\u00fcnftige Wirtschaftspolitik zuzulassen, der wei\u00df, dass sich Russland mit dieser wirtschaftspolitischen Ausrichtung im rechtsgedrehten Europa keine Freunde macht.<\/p>\n<p>Allerdings muss es das auch gar nicht. Auf meiner Reise entstand auch der Eindruck, als h\u00e4tte Russland mit Europa vorerst abgeschlossen. Es gab viele Versuche der Ann\u00e4herung seitens Russlands, die vom Westen oftmals br\u00fcsk zur\u00fcckgewiesen wurden. Selbst der NATO-Russland-Rat tagt nicht mehr, eine Institution die speziell dazu geschaffen\u00a0wurde, um in Krisen den Dialog aufrecht zu erhalten. Die NATO hat diesen Dialog abgebrochen. Russland schluckte eine Beleidigung nach der anderen, akzeptierte jeden Affront und jede Arroganz mit Gleichmut. Doch inzwischen hat der Westen den Bogen wohl doch \u00fcberspannt. Das unglaublich geduldige Russland wendet sich von Europa ab.<\/p>\n<p>Bei meinem Besuch in Sankt Petersburg wurde das deutlich. Dort durfte ein Besuch der Ermitage nat\u00fcrlich\u00a0nicht fehlen. Und hier war dann neben der \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigenden Sch\u00f6nheit der Ermitage und ihrer\u00a0Exponate eins schon auff\u00e4llig: Die Masse von chinesischen und indischen Touristen bei gleichzeitiger Unterrepr\u00e4sentanz von europ\u00e4ischen Gruppen n\u00e4mlich. Auch um den Kreml werden inzwischen mehr Gruppen aus den BRICS-Staaten gef\u00fchrt als aus Europa. Im Fernsehen laufen Dokumentationen \u00fcber China, russische Pop-Ikonen wie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9H47l2NbTag\" target=\"_blank\">Nyusha<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LD_YH9FRRL4\" target=\"_blank\">Vera Breschnewa<\/a>\u00a0nehmen sich indischer Stilmittel in ihren Videoklips an. Das gro\u00dfe Thema ist BRICS, nicht Europ\u00e4ische Union oder Angela Merkel. Das kann man sich hier vermutlich nur schwer vorstellen, weil wir uns f\u00fcr den Nabel der Welt halten, es ist aber tats\u00e4chlich so.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150905_155031.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11174 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150905_155031.jpg?w=275&amp;h=490\" alt=\"20150905_155031\" width=\"275\" height=\"490\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Es kann nicht verleugnet werden, Europa hat hier Chancen vertan und vertut sie immer noch. Mit einer Mischung aus Arroganz und unglaublicher Verachtung verpasst Deutschland und Europa den Anschluss an eine Entwicklung, die eine neue Weltordnung vorbereitet, und reitet auf dem toten Pferd des transatlantischen B\u00fcndnisses.<br \/>\nZwar nehmen die Attacken gegen die BRICS-Staaten zu, es ist ja nicht nur Russland, das geschm\u00e4ht wird. In Brasilien agitiert eine rechtskonservative Oberschicht mit Hilfe der Massenmedien massiv gegen die Pr\u00e4sidentin Dilma Rousseff und ihre sozialistische Arbeiterpartei. Vermutlich flie\u00dft Geld auf jeden Fall aber Unterst\u00fctzung aus den USA. Dass sich eben diese USA auch China als neuen Feind auserkoren haben, ist auch bekannt. Eigentlich ist alles, was nicht USA ist, der Feind der USA, und selbst da sind sich die USA nicht so sicher. Die typische Angstst\u00f6rung eines untergehenden Imperiums.<br \/>\nIn den BRICS-Staaten leben etwa 40 Prozent der Weltbev\u00f6lkerung. Es wohnt dem B\u00fcndnis\u00a0ein unglaubliches Potential inne, das im derzeitigen Wirtschaftskrieg sich nur bedingt entfalten kann. Allerdings wird sich dieses Potential nicht auf Dauer unterdr\u00fccken lassen. Europa und insbesondere Deutschland sollte das sehr aufmerksam beobachten. Eine stoische B\u00fcndnistreue, wie sie Europa und Deutschland derzeit praktizieren, ist hier sicherlich fehl am Platze.<\/p>\n<p>Nach Sankt Petersburg kamen wir mit dem Zug; ein historischer Schnellzug, \u043a\u0440\u0430\u0441\u043d\u0430\u044f \u0441\u0442\u0440\u0435\u043b\u0430 (Krasnaja Strela\/roter Pfeil) der seit 1931 verkehrt. Zur\u00fcck nach Moskau sind wir ebenfalls im Zug gefahren, dieses mal mit dem \u0441\u0430\u043f\u0441\u0430\u043d (Sapsan\/Wanderfalke) von Siemens, der seit 2009 die Metropolen verbindet und f\u00fcr den Siemens einen 30 j\u00e4hrigen Wartungsvertrag hat. Leider gibt es die Sanktionen. Wir werden sehen, wie sich das weiter <a href=\"http:\/\/logon-echon.com\/2015\/08\/10\/journalismus-mit-dem-iq-einer-obenliegenden-nockenwelle\/\" target=\"_blank\">entwickelt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr jeden Waggon gab es in beiden Z\u00fcgen einen eigenen Zugbegleiter. \u00dcberhaupt, Personal ist allgegenw\u00e4rtig. Das f\u00fchrt zu einer der niedrigsten Arbeitslosenquoten in Europa. Bei 5,3 % liegt sie derzeit und das in der Krise, w\u00e4hrend das laut Selbstwahrnehmung \u201cboomende\u201d Deutschland 6,6 Prozent z\u00e4hlt (bei gesch\u00f6nter Statistik). Dass sich Deutschland mit einem gesch\u00e4tzten Wachstum von 1,7% in diesem Jahr in einem Boom w\u00e4hnt, wird au\u00dferhalb der deutschen Grenzen als Lachnummer wahrgenommen. Im Gegensatz zu hier, ist soziale Sicherheit, vor allem aber ihre Umsetzung das Kernthema russischer Politik.<\/p>\n<p>Das Gegenteil zu Russland in dieser Hinsicht sind freilich die USA. Noch nie in meinem Leben habe ich so viel Armut gesehen, die in zynischem Widerspruch zum dort zelebrierten Reichtum steht, wie in den USA.In Miami und auch in den Los Angeles sieht man deutlich, wie eine v\u00f6llig entsolidarisierte Gesellschaft zerf\u00e4llt. In <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Skid_Row,_Los_Angeles\" target=\"_blank\">Skid Row<\/a>, einem Stadtteil von Los Angeles, leben nicht Hunderte, dort leben Tausende einfach auf der Stra\u00dfe. Es ist ein in tiefer Weise ersch\u00fctterndes Bild, das sich dort zeigt. Welche Hautfarbe in Skid Row vorherrscht, muss ich nicht weiter ausf\u00fchren. Luftlinie wenige Kilometer entfernt glitzert Hollywood und bespa\u00dft die Weltgemeinschaft mit narkotisierendem und ideologisch aufgeladenen Bl\u00f6dsinn. Die amerikanische Gesellschaft ist in tiefer Weise obsz\u00f6n. Wenn wir uns aus dieser B\u00fcndnispartnerschaft nicht l\u00f6sen, wird dies auch das europ\u00e4ische Schicksal.<\/p>\n<p>Dass diese entsolidarisierte Gesellschaft nur noch mit Gewalt zusammen zu halten ist, wurde in Miami deutlich. Die Stadt wird offensichtlich von der Polizei regiert, die allgegenw\u00e4rtig ist und sich auch nicht verpflichtet f\u00fchlt, sich an irgendwelche Regeln und Gesetze zu halten. So marschierten eines Tages einmal zehn Polizisten einfach quer durch die Hotellobby, an mir und dem hoteleigenen Pool vorbei um das private Gel\u00e4nde auf der anderen Seite wieder zu verlassen. Ohne nachzufragen, ohne irgendeinen Bescheid, einfach so. Au\u00dfer mir fand das auch niemand merkw\u00fcrdig, was zeigt, wie sehr die Amis von allem schon entw\u00f6hnt sind, was mit Demokratie und Rechtsstaatlichkeit zu tun hat. Polizeistaat eben.<\/p>\n<p>In einer merkw\u00fcrdigen Verdrehung der Tatsachen, unterstellt man Russland diejenigen Praktiken, die in den USA die Regel sind. Meine bisher erste und einzige Begegnung mit der russischen Polizei verlief ganz anders als meine Begegnungen in den USA. Wir wurden lediglich daran erinnert, dass es verboten sei, auf der Stra\u00dfe Wodka zu trinken. Wir sollten die Flasche jetzt mal wegstecken, denn sie bek\u00e4men sonst auch Lust auf ein Schl\u00fcckchen, meinte der Polizeibeamte w\u00e4hrend seine Begleiterin im Hintergrund zustimmend nickte und freundlich l\u00e4chelte. Wir taten\u2019s und bekamen weiterhin noch viel Spa\u00df gew\u00fcnscht. In Miami w\u00e4re man f\u00fcr so ein Vergehen noch vor jeder Ansprache vermutlich erstmal kr\u00e4ftig <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ODy9Ho66OqU\" target=\"_blank\">getasert<\/a> worden.<\/p>\n<p>Doch zur\u00fcck nach Russland. Meine Reise umfasste auch einen Besuch auf der Krim. Jalta hatte ich mir als Ziel ausgeguckt. Gemeinsam mit meinem Moskauer Freund Dmitry flogen wir nach Simferopol. <a href=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150831_173707.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11138 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150831_173707.jpg?w=332&amp;h=187\" alt=\"20150831_173707\" width=\"332\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a>Der Flughafen ist viel zu klein, f\u00fcr das, was er jetzt zu leisten hat. Daf\u00fcr ist der Bahnhof in Simferopol inzwischen zu gro\u00df. Fr\u00fcher brachten Z\u00fcge Touristen aus Russland \u00fcber die Ukraine auf die Krim, heute ist der Grenz\u00fcbergang geschlossen. Entsprechend bleibt nur der Luftweg. Eine Br\u00fcckenbauprojekt wird jetzt mit Hochdruck voran getrieben, das die Krim an das russische Festland anbinden wird. 2018 soll es fertig gestellt sein. Doch bis es soweit ist, muss man sich mit einem an der Grenze seiner M\u00f6glichkeiten arbeitenden Flughafen arrangieren. Als Berliner ist man das allerdings gew\u00f6hnt, vermutlich ist die Br\u00fccke eher er\u00f6ffnet als der hiesige Flughafen, der als in Beton gegossenes Symbol f\u00fcr deutsche Korruption in die Geschichte eingehen wird.<\/p>\n<p>Meine Idee war ja, mit der l\u00e4ngsten <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Krymskyj_trolejbus\" target=\"_blank\">Trolleybuslinie<\/a> der Welt von Simferopol nach Jalta zu fahren, denn ich bin ein gro\u00dfer Freund \u00f6ffentlicher Verkehrsmittel. Mein Freund Dmitry fand die Idee nicht so berauschend und organisierte eine Fahrgelegenheit. Als ich die Trolleybusse sah, verstand ich. Nicht nur in den \u00f6ffentlichen Personenverkehr auch sonst hat die Ukraine in den letzten 25 Jahren nicht allzu viel Geld in die Krim investiert. Einige Busse stammen offensichtlich noch aus Sowjetzeiten und Investitionen in die Infrastruktur werden erst seit dem Anschluss an Russland\u00a0in einem nennenswerten Umfang wieder get\u00e4tigt.<\/p>\n<p>Dessen ungeachtet bleibt mir \u00fcber die Krim eigentlich nur eins zu sagen. Die Krim ist mit Sicherheit der sch\u00f6nste Ort, den ich jemals gesehen habe. Ganz einfach. Reiner Superlativ. Die Natur ist \u00fcberw\u00e4ltigend, jeder Quadratmeter ist historisch. Ein \u00fcber zwei Jahrhunderte langsam gewachsener Tourismus hat nicht das Ausma\u00df an Baus\u00fcnden hinterlassen, die man in Touristenzentren sonst zu Gesicht bekommt. Im Gegenteil f\u00fcgen sich insbesondere in Jalta Hotels und Anlagen harmonisch in die Landschaft ein und erschaffen eine wundervolle, unnachahmliche Atmosph\u00e4re.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcber Politik wird viel gesprochen, das Thema Ukraine ist allgegenw\u00e4rtig. Allerdings weint der Anbindung an die Ukraine auf der Krim niemand hinterher. Im Gegenteil. Noch immer sind die Aufkleber und Sticker zu sehen, die vor der Wahl am 16.M\u00e4rz zu einem Bekenntnis zu Russland auffordern. <a href=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150903_133103.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11144 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150903_133103.jpg?w=261&amp;h=465\" alt=\"20150903_133103\" width=\"261\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a>Stop Maidan ist hier in einem Bus zu lesen.<\/p>\n<p>Und was w\u00e4re auch die Alternative? Statt subtropischem Ferienidyll w\u00e4re die Alternative B\u00fcrgerkrieg, da herrscht hier kein Zweifel. Man bekommt die Alternative jeden Tag in den Medien zu Gesicht, die Vorg\u00e4nge um Lugansk und Donezk.<br \/>\nUnd je heftiger und je l\u00e4nger der Konflikt dauert, desto fester wird das Bekenntnis der Krimbewohner zu Russland. W\u00e4hrend auf der anderen Seite der Grenze Niedergang und Gewalt herrschen, herrscht auf der Krim Wachstum und Wohlstand.<br \/>\nAllen, die meinen hier von Annexion sprechen zu m\u00fcssen und irgendwas von V\u00f6lkerrecht faseln, sollten sich dies vor Augen f\u00fchren. Sie w\u00fcnschen der Krim, sie w\u00fcnschen knapp 2,5 Millionen Menschen einen B\u00fcrgerkrieg an den Hals. Nichts weniger; nicht weniger zynisch ist das deutsche Gefasel in Medien und transatlantisch vernetzten Postillen.<br \/>\n\u00dcberhaupt, das V\u00f6lkerrecht. Keine Nation tritt das V\u00f6lkerrecht und die Menschenrechte derzeit so vehement mit F\u00fc\u00dfen wie die USA und die Europ\u00e4ische Union tritt als Verb\u00fcndete kr\u00e4ftig mit. Extralegale Internierungen, Folter, extralegale T\u00f6tungen, inzwischen kaum noch zu z\u00e4hlende v\u00f6lkerrechtswidrige Kriege, Massen\u00fcberwachung, und und und.<\/p>\n<p>Was aber die Frage nach dem Begriff der Annexion angeht, so gibt es hierzu dreierlei zu sagen. Der Westen sieht in der Angliederung der Krim eine Annexion, was als einziger Grund nach V\u00f6lkerrecht eine Legitimation f\u00fcr einen Krieg hergibt. Daher w\u00e4re ich sehr vorsichtig mit diesem Wort. Mit Russland verb\u00fcndete Staaten sehen die Vorg\u00e4nge um die Krim freilich ein bisschen anders. Letztlich scheint es allerdings so zu sein, dass das V\u00f6lkerrecht hier\u00fcber gar nichts sagt. H\u00e4lt die V\u00f6lkergemeinschaft einen Vorgang f\u00fcr eine Annexion, dann ist es eine, h\u00e4lt die V\u00f6lkergemeinschaft einen Vorgang f\u00fcr keine Annexion, dann ist es eben keine. Es wird also noch eine Weile dauern, bis die Begriffe in Bezug auf die Krim abschlie\u00dfend gefunden sein werden. Im Interesse der Krim ist es dabei freilich, hier von einem Anschluss an Russland zu sprechen, denn alles andere \u00f6ffnet das Tor zum Krieg. Zur Ukraine jedenfalls m\u00f6chte auf der Krim niemand mehr geh\u00f6ren.<a href=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150902_131913.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11142 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/gertewenungar.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/09\/20150902_131913.jpg?w=231&amp;h=412\" alt=\"20150902_131913\" width=\"231\" height=\"412\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00dcberhaupt Ukraine: Der dortige Putsch ging ja gr\u00fcndlich in die Hosen. Maidanspazierg\u00e4nger Frank-Walter Steinmeier hat mit seiner transatlantischen B\u00fcndnispartnerin Viktoria Nuland in das Herz Europas einen gescheiterten Staat gepflanzt, in dem ein eingefrorener bewaffneter Konflikt tobt. So bl\u00f6de muss man erst mal sein. Den USA nutzt das eher, Europa schadet es aber gr\u00fcndlich und nachhaltig.<br \/>\nErst gestern hatte ich ein Gespr\u00e4ch mit einem Freund, der in <a href=\"http:\/\/logon-echon.com\/2015\/07\/14\/kiew\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kiew<\/a> wohnt. Gut ausgebildet, inzwischen arbeitslos wie so viele, hofft er auf baldige Visafreiheit, um nach Deutschland zu kommen. Die Visafreiheit wird allerdings\u00a0so bald nicht kommen, wie auch eine Mitgliedschaft in der EU nicht kommen wird. Ein Haufen Waffen kommt, US-Amerikanische S\u00f6ldner sind schon da, ein paar Milit\u00e4rberater auch, vielleicht kommt mal eine Mitgliedschaft in der NATO, auf jeden Fall kommt ein amerikanischer Milit\u00e4rst\u00fctzpunkt und das war\u2019s dann mit der Westintegration der Ukraine. Ach ja, und der IWF, der kommt nat\u00fcrlich auch und darf das Land ein bisschen \u00f6konomisch zugrunde richten, das h\u00e4tte ich fast vergessen zu erw\u00e4hnen.<\/p>\n<p>Alles andere waren blo\u00dfe Versprechungen, um den Putsch zu bef\u00f6rdern und das Land zu destabilisieren. Die Verzweiflung der Menschen dort wird jedoch mit jedem Tag gr\u00f6\u00dfer, denn die Perspektivlosigkeit ist furchtbar. Also k\u00f6nnen wir uns schon mal auf die n\u00e4chste Fl\u00fcchtlingswelle einstellen, denn aus der Ukraine wollen eigentlich alle nur noch weg. Das Land ist dank westlichem Regimechange und Demokratief\u00f6rderung am Boden und wird das auf Jahrzehnte auch bleiben.<br \/>\nUm die 700.000 Fl\u00fcchtlinge hat Russland bereits aus den \u00f6stlichen B\u00fcrgerkriegsgebieten aufgenommen. Das Ziel der Menschen im Westen der Ukraine wird allerdings Europa sein. Jeder, der mit dem Geschwafel von der Annexion der Krim meint, den Konflikt am Laufen halten zu m\u00fcssen, kann ja schon mal ein Bett bereit machen, f\u00fcr die, die da kommen werden. So ganz uneigenn\u00fctzig als Zeichen der Solidarit\u00e4t und aus Sorge um die territoriale Integrit\u00e4t der Ukraine. Die Oberst\u00e4nkerinnen gegen Russland\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/marieluisebeck.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fau Beck<\/a> und <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebecca-harms.de\/\" target=\"_blank\">Frau Harms<\/a> sind sicherlich bereit, ihre Wohnzimmer auch gr\u00f6\u00dferen Gruppen zur Verf\u00fcgung zu stellen und auf unabsehbare Zeit auf Bequemlichkeit zu verzichten; schlie\u00dflich geht es um die gute Sache.<\/p>\n<p>Was nat\u00fcrlich der Oberwitz ist, ist, dass jeder, der \u00fcber Russland auf die Krim reist, nach ukrainischem Gesetz ein Krimineller ist. Das Ausw\u00e4rtige Amt verweist mit einer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.auswaertiges-amt.de\/DE\/Laenderinformationen\/00-SiHi\/UkraineSicherheit.html\" target=\"_blank\">Reisewarnung<\/a>hierauf und r\u00e4t von Reisen auf die Krim dringend ab. Das ein mit der EU-assoziiertes Land die Reisefreiheit der EU-B\u00fcrger einschr\u00e4nkt, ist ein unglaublicher Vorgang. Der Chef des Ausw\u00e4rtigen Amtes ist \u00fcbrigens besagter Maidanspazierg\u00e4nger Frank-Walter Steinmeier, dem es so unglaublich wichtig war, dass sich in der Ukraine Demokratie und Menschenrechte durchsetzen. Was macht er gegen die Beschr\u00e4nkung eines Grundrechts? Nichts nat\u00fcrlich. Politik ist bei uns ja nur PR zur Durchsetzung der Interessen von wenigen mit wohlklingenden Worten, denen viele zustimmen k\u00f6nnen, die aber nichts bedeuten.<\/p>\n<p>Doch bevor die Freiheiten hier weiter eingeschr\u00e4nkt werden, kann ich nur raten: reist! Reist vor allem da hin, wo die ver\u00f6ffentlichte Meinung sagt \u201cmach das blo\u00df nicht, das ist Dunkelland!\u201d Die Krim ist daf\u00fcr \u00fcbrigens perfekt. Wegen der Sanktionen funktionieren da zwar keine Kreditkarten und deutsche Reiseb\u00fcros d\u00fcrfen keine Reisen dorthin anbieten, schlie\u00dflich ist Geopolitik immer auch ein bisschen Kindergarten. Doch leistet euch einen Au\u00dfenblick auf uns, auch wenn die Planung etwas aufwendiger ist als die Buchung eines\u00a0Pauschalurlaubs. Ihr werdet \u00fcberrascht sein, wie verquer und marginal wir inzwischen sind, wie wenig medial vermittelte Weltsicht mit der Realit\u00e4t und den Fakten \u00fcbereinstimmt. Und der \u00fcberraschende Schluss wird sein: Dunkelland, das sind wir selbst, wir sind der Propaganda ausgesetzt, unabl\u00e4ssig und unabwendbar. Nicht diejenigen, auf die unsere Propaganda zeigt. Wir sind es, denn es ist unsere Politik und es ist unsere Weise zu wirtschaften, die hochaggressiv sind und sich gegen alles richten, was nicht unmittelbar bereit ist, sich \u00f6konomisch zu unterwerfen. Der kalte Krieg und auch der Klassenkampf sind wieder da, in aller Grausamkeit. Der Westen hat aus der Geschichte nichts gelernt.
