{"id":1924,"date":"2013-04-03T12:01:46","date_gmt":"2013-04-03T18:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/myfutureamerica.org\/?p=1924"},"modified":"2013-04-03T12:13:08","modified_gmt":"2013-04-03T18:13:08","slug":"1924","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/myfutureamerica.org\/?p=1924","title":{"rendered":"Cyprus: Presidents family rescues their money before taxes bite, among others the Gazprom Chef."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to Cypriot media several companies and individuals have withdrawn their money from the country in time before the introduction of <a title=\"\" name=\"_art_link_\" href=\"http:\/\/translate.googleusercontent.com\/translate_c?depth=1&amp;hl=en&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;prev=_t&amp;rurl=translate.google.com&amp;sl=de&amp;tl=en&amp;u=http:\/\/www.welt.de\/wirtschaft\/article114890745\/Bank-of-Cyprus-Sparer-sollen-60-Prozent-verlieren.html&amp;usg=ALkJrhijNFAwL_-sciaWdLmrSefeK8vp6g\">compulsory levy <\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p1\">The communist newspaper &#8220;Charagvi&#8221; published a list of investors that have cleared supposedly empty their accounts of Laiki Bank on the 15th of March, two weeks prior to the ruling on the tax.<\/p>\n<p>On this list, there are dozens of companies and three individuals. The first two are relatives of the Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiades.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p2\">Antis and Katia Loutsios, <a title=\"\" name=\"_art_link_\" href=\"http:\/\/translate.googleusercontent.com\/translate_c?depth=1&amp;hl=en&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;prev=_t&amp;rurl=translate.google.com&amp;sl=de&amp;tl=en&amp;u=http:\/\/www.welt.de\/wirtschaft\/article114883586\/Zyprische-Banken-sollen-Politiker-beguenstigt-haben.html&amp;usg=ALkJrhiTbN4WeLh_13Jht3nVzcgfveHxDA\">son and daughter of the president have closed and removed six million euros in<\/a> their private accounts on 3rd and 4rd March.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p3\">Ten days later, another 21 million euros were transfered abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Interesting is the third individual who has closed its account at Laiki Bank in time.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p4\">According to the report of &#8220;Charagvi&#8221; it is the chief executive of Russia&#8217;s Gazprombank, Andrei Akimov.<\/p>\n<p>He closed his account on 6th of March and has thus brought some two million euros in security.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p5\">Andrei Akimov, Gazprombank runs for more than ten years and is one of the highest paid managers in Russia.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Russian Forbes magazine last year, he has earned ten million U.S. dollars (7.8 million euros).<\/p>\n<p>As<a href=\"http:\/\/www.welt.de\/wirtschaft\/article114986653\/Gazprombank-Chef-soll-Geld-aus-Zypern-abgezogen-haben.html\" target=\"_blank\"> &#8220;Die Welt&#8221;<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to Cypriot media several companies and individuals have withdrawn their money from the country in time before the introduction of compulsory levy .
