In, Russia, St. Petersburg there was a large-scale special operation of the FSB and the police.<\/strong> In different parts of St. Petersburg <\/strong>several hundred people – followers of radical Islamic movements were <\/strong>detained<\/strong>.<\/strong> Many have been already charged with inciting to terrorism and incitement to hatred and enmity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meetings of these group in the shopping arcade Apraksin Yard which in the center of the city went on for several months. Operatives have confirmed the information that followers of radical Islamic movements gathered there. Many come here not for the first time.<\/p>\n

All the detainees were searched and put into buses for further proceedings. At the same time, arrests were made in several districts of the city. In one of the houses, according to some insiders, lived those who are called fanatics.<\/p>\n

It is possible that these people were waiting for further shipment to overseas training camps.<\/p>\n

As suggested, the organizer and leader of this Islamic community in St. Petersburg was Sabashev Muratdinovich Murat, who was born in 1988, unemployed, living on money allocated by an imam.<\/p>\n

However, the investigators did not rule out that detainee has received money from international donors. Along with the financing came extremist literature and symbolism. It was spread among the believers.<\/p>\n

Part of illegal immigrants will be deported from Russia within couple days.<\/p>\n

Prospective organizers have been indicted for incitement to terrorism and incitement to hatred.<\/p>\n

This is not the first attempt to create in the northern capital radical Islamist movement, but, as noted in the police, perhaps the most ambitious.<\/p>\n

Interrogation of the suspects continued all night.<\/p>\n

Investigators hope to find more about the organizers.<\/p>\n
